Features!

Wed Aug 19, 2009, 6:35 PM
So...the wonderful and kind ADP/AngelicDragonPuppy/:iconangelicdragonpuppy: just featured me in her journal!
Go check her out, she's funny as hell and writes wonderful stories, as well as drawing her host of bizarre, original, and constantly entertaining original characters. (which include lots of random monsters and pretty boys getting beaten on) All in all, good fun.

*cough*

Anyway, the deal is that I'm to invite other people, and to in turn feature them on my page. (whether or not many people actually read this, I have no idea. But hey, free advertising!)

--just be one of the first (15) people to ask for a feature. I'll choose three of your deviations to add into this journal, as well as writing about how wonderful you are, and why people should go look at your stuff. (Or if I don't know you, I'll just write about how wonderful I imagine you to be. :paranoid:)

Barring all that, just let me know how you're doing today! I'm curious to see who gets my journals :)

...

So now:

Feature no. 1: :iconangelicdragonpuppy:
'Cuz she's cool like that
[link] = Dragons. Always awesome, and she has a lot of 'em.
[link] = Spider. half-naked boy. Blood. Bondage(?). Yeah...
[link] = Deliciously creepy (what? it's called a sausage monster... :o)

Feature no. 2: :iconkidtakeshi:, signature smiley the ^^;
My most recent opponent/friend in the OCT Bonds of String, this guy has some awesome characters that I've had the pleasure of getting to know in recent weeks. He puts a lot of thought into his comics, which makes for an interesting read and him a worthwhile adversary. He also throws poems in every once in a while, which is an original touch :)
[link] = I saw this in my inbox today, and I think it's one of his best--great detail and one can really feel a story built behind it
[link] = Wolf silhouette+moon and trees. Nice :D
[link] = this and the previous he claims were done in five minutes...wow. In any case, I like the colors, it seems like it would be a good desktop bg.

Feature no. 3: :iconmkbolivianwonder:
Despite the fact that he asked not to be featured...he did ask in a very ambiguous way. And so, I present to you 'the writer'. The writer because we're collaborating on a [SOON TO BE] EPIC graphic novel. You should support us and buy a copy once it comes out^^ It's very deep and symbolic, and I hope I can live up to expectations (my own included). All in all, he's a cool guy, and talented with visual as well as the literary arts.
[link] = 3D art! Pretty cool, yes.
[link] = I thought this was a photograph at first, but no! Impressive stuff, here
[link] = some nice traditional art, the style goes really well with the subject (and there's a link below the picture if you don't know Kokopelli :))

Feature no. 4 :icongoldentreefrog:
I really don't know that much about him, but that's probably because he's a codenamed secret agent infiltrating deviantart to ward off clowns and ninjas. "Golden Treefrog." Think about it.
Anyway.
The most recent addition to my watch list; partly because he was on ADP's feature list, a little bit because he's British, but mostly because his comics are funny and remind me vaguely of the Simpsons. Definitely worth a look, in my opinion.
[link] = cool birdie, good coloring...if I knew what smash bros were I'd probably have more to say. ^^;
[link] = in which an opponent is STABBED THROUGH THE FOREHEAD. No one saw it coming. (or at least I didn't)
[link] = you probably have to be watching oofuchiboo to get this... in any case, I laughed.

Features to go: 11

... ... ... ... ... ... ...

And lastly...commission me if you've got the money and the will, please and thank you!
Ranging from sketches - $5 to fully cg-ed - about $30, fluxuates depending on complexity/background elements.
Traditional pieces are available as well (I'll mail the original) - prices to be negotiated per order.

I just realised that I never posted the epilogue (fail much?) so yeah, I guess ADP's ending is canon. In any case, it would be awesome to see her alive and well(ish) again :D
:iconousuat-csat:
I'll see to it that the young and dashing Ousuat rescues her!!!:iconherotimeplz:

...I just saw that we lost first round of the BoS OCT...the files for the pages I did got infected (by my virus-ridden computer), so I'm redoing them.

Stegosaurus: "We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land'."
T-Rex: "I think we should call it...your GRAVE!"
S: "Ah! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"
T: "Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh...now DIE!"
:iconlunalupa:
I know :(
I was [vainly] surprised, but oh well. I wish they would give us results; that's two OCT's I've failed in and neither gave any feedback.

That's too bad about your computer--and don't worry about redoing those pages (unless it's for your own enjoyment of course^^)
:iconinsanesmiley:
Redoing them would be for my own pleasure, but I'm also doing them because I said I would. <D Yea, I've been in a couple of OCTs where they haven't (or don't) give you critiques. I had to ask a few times about that, and some of them gave me feedback.

Hmm...I was wondering; I'm not sure if you'd want to, but would you consider auditioning or helping out with the ~TV-World-Tournament OCT? Currently, I'm looking for people to help out and maybe audition.
